Fatigue Testing Under Dynamic Load

RP VI is a simulation facility designed to determine the fatigue strength of drill string connections under four simultaneous load conditions. Tubular components with an outside diameter of up to 5½" can be tested under axial loads of up to 400 kN, internal pressures of up to 700 bar, and torsional forces of up to 28 kNm. Two bearing units in the camshaft can each apply a bending force of 50 kN.
