M3: Digitalization and Simulation in Geothermal Energy

Course Director: Prof. Dr. Gunther Brenner

Description:

The exploitation of the geological subsurface for energy purposes—such as energy extraction, storage, or CO2 sequestration—is no longer conceivable without digitalization. Digitalization encompasses both the automation of plant technology and deep drilling, as well as data-driven and model-based modeling of relevant processes. This module provides in-depth insight into the methods of digitalization and simulation for geothermal projects.
