Production Systems
Our department is an international, multidisciplinary team of scientists investigating fundamental phenomena in oil and gas production and separation processes. We combine fundamental science with application-oriented research to develop a deeper understanding of complex processes. Our research spans interfacial phenomena, phase behavior, rheology, and mass transport, with particular expertise in advanced experimental techniques under high-pressure conditions, which enables us to investigate complex fluid-fluid and fluid-solid systems under realistic operating conditions. By studying these phenomena, we seek to uncover the mechanisms that govern their behavior and develop a deeper understanding of the underlying processes. Through international collaboration and interdisciplinary research, we aim to translate fundamental scientific insights into practical solutions for challenges in the energy sector.
