Internship for Bachelor's students

Objectives:

3-month internship. Wintershall Dea has been and continues to be involved in multiple joint industry research projects dedicated to various aspects of the CO2 storage value chain, including phase behavior, pipeline and ship transport, multiphase flow in porous media and wellbores, interaction with reservoir rocks and brines, and the application of numerical modeling and simulation tools, etc. Proper archiving of reports and data, along with comprehensive review and analysis, is required to understand existing results, guide further research, and draw the right conclusions for future developments and projects.

Tasks and deliverables:

  • Organize and archive existing reports and study results.
  • Read through the reports, prepare a 2–3-page summary report and a 2–3-slide presentation per project summarizing key objectives and results.
  • Develop a multi-project Excel spreadsheet to assess cross-overlaps.  

Requirements:

  •  Expertise in petroleum-related engineering disciplines (production, reservoir, transport)
  • Familiarity with various experimental laboratory procedures<s>.</s>
