TU Clausthal PhD Student achieves success in Student Paper Contest

Opeyemi Olaoluwa Bello was awarded the third place in the doctoral division of the International Student Paper Contest, which was held at the 2016 Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE) International Conference and Exhibition in Stavanger, Norway. He gave a presentation on the topic “Development of Hybrid Intelligent System for Drill Rig Selection during Well Planning Program". The supervisors of this distinguished paper were both Professor Joachim Oppelt and Associate Professor Catalin Teodoriu.
During the event, Opeyemi Olaoluwa Bello also participated as a contestant in the HSSE Challenge with a tag-team called "The Hybrid Team", with students from Coventry University and Technical University of Denmark. They emerged third at the end of the challenge.
