The make and brake tests are carried out at the OCTG Makeup Center. The OCTG Makeup Center consists of a Horizontal-Positioned Power Tong, a Vertical-Positioned Power Tong and a Small-Scale Test Machine.

The ITE Makeup Center is working in addition with the ITE OCTG Testing Center. Due to its high power tests as overtorque tests to failure are common. To see some samples please visit the Oilfield Tools Torture page.
